Recently, our Primary Years Programme (PYP) students took the stage for our Movement Competition. During this event, students delivered short, dynamic presentations to showcase their physical skills, coordination, and creative expression. Events like this play a vital role in developing the whole child. By designing and executing their routines, students demonstrated fantastic student agency and ownership of their learning. Preparing for these presentations also helped strengthen their Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills, specifically self-management and communication as they practiced focus, physical coordination and the ability to confidently share their routines with an audience.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and hard work our students demonstrated. Every presentation highlighted the unique abilities and personal growth of our young learners.
