Fostering Community, Empowering Individuals.
Our Mission is simple but profound. We believe that a school is more than a place to learn. It is a place to belong.
We place “Community” first in our mission statement intentionally. We believe that individual empowerment is only possible within a supportive environment. It takes courage to take academic risks, ask difficult questions, and grow. When students feel safe, valued, and connected to those around them, they find the confidence to excel. A strong community is the soil in which individual potential takes root.
A Balanced Approach to Growth
Our Vision guides every decision we make, from curriculum design to student well-being.
We are committed to a balanced approach to individual growth that unites academic and social emotional development. In a caring, inclusive community that values diversity and respect, we nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and resilience to help students thrive and become responsible lifelong learners who make a meaningful impact in a changing world.
From Humble Beginnings…
2005: The Foundation We opened our doors on September 1, 2005, with a small group of students and a large ambition. Our goal was to bring world-class international education to our local community.
2008 to 2010: Pioneering the IB We quickly established ourselves as a leader in the region. By 2008, we became one of the first schools in Poznań authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) to teach the Diploma Programme (DP). Just two years later, in 2010, our Primary School received authorization for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). This cemented our status as an IB World School.
Today: A Thriving Community From those early days, we have grown into a vibrant campus of over 600 students across diverse programmes. Guided by close to 100 skilled teachers, we remain committed to the same values we started with. We continue to invest in our facilities, our faculty, and our future to ensure that ISOP remains a place where students are empowered to make their mark on the world.
